Lola Aida’s Kitchen is a Filipino family-owned food company based in Somerset, UK, established in 2024. Known for our quick frozen raw, ready to roast gourmet rolled pork belly (lechon belly), we blend the rich flavors and traditions of the Philippines to bring you a taste of home in every bite.

Our Legacy
"Lola" /ˈlɔːla/ (Tagalog) noun: "Grandmother" in the Filipino language.
We honor my mother, Aida, the grandmother of my children, who dedicated her life to the kitchen. She spent over 30 years as a successful restaurateur, concessionaire, and caterer in the Philippines, always chopping, peeling, slicing, mixing, sautéing, and cooking with unwavering passion. Her culinary legacy, rich with dedication and love, lives on through the recipes she has passed down to her children and grandchildren. Even today, she divides her time between the UK, US, and Australia, lovingly cooking for our family, especially for her five grandchildren.
Our Founder
Behind Lola Aida's Kitchen is an accomplished food technologist turned food entrepreneur with a long-standing career in the high-volume food manufacturing industry in the UK. Her early career focused on food safety, quality, and manufacturing standards, starting in research and development for a leading manufacturing company in the Philippines.
Her love for food and cooking was nurtured from a young age, watching and helping her mother cook for both intimate gatherings and large events. This passion is now shared with her two young daughters, aged 10 and 5, as she continues the family tradition of culinary excellence.
